Ian has over 20 years experience in the finance industry. He has worked closely with Independent High End Vehicle suppliers,High Net Worth clients and commercial clients.

On a personal note:

Ian spends his leisure time following the greatest game on earth – Rugby League and being a taxi for a teenage son.

Background

Tim is a Business Development Manager with 17 years’ experience in the retail side of the business, working for major brands which includes the likes of Mercedes Benz and Ferrari to name a few.

On a personal note:

In his free time he loves to spend time with his wife and three children; playing tennis, riding his mountain bike and taking in the sea air whilst walking along the seafront of his hometown in Clevedon.

Background

Kate has over 16 years of retail experience within the motor industry. She has 8 years of experience in motor finance, from being a Franchise Business Manager, an Account Manager for MotoNovo & now High-end vehicle finance with JBR Capital, providing funding solutions for HNW & commercial clients.

On a personal note:

Kate enjoys travelling, cooking & keeping fit. She is an avid festival goer, with a passion for live music and fast cars!

Background

Tony graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Chemistry. He has over 15 years of experience in financial services ranging from prestige car finance to residential mortgages, including roles at BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions and Mortgage Advice Bureau.

On a personal note:

In his free time he enjoys long distance running, which takes his mind off the misery of being a lifelong Fulham supporter!

Background

Dan brings over 20 years of experience of motor retail with 14 of those spent specialising in financial services. He has worked extensively in the luxury/sports car sector for brands such as Lamborghini, Maserati and Rolls-Royce.

On a personal note:

Dan is a keen skier (and even keener apres-skier!) and proud Dad to two daughters. They make sure he is kept very busy when not working.

Over 18 years of retail experience within the motor industry with 12 of those being in the finance sector for both consumer and manufacturer.

On a personal note:

Kimberley loves the outdoors, keeping fit, holidays in the sun and most importantly spending time with her young daughter.

Background

Chris joined JBR as Head of Marketing in Summer 2019 following five years running Porsche Club Great Britain, Europe’s largest Car Club. His previous roles at Bartle Bogle Hegarty and MG Car Club focused on the development of automotive communities, while a stint at the BBC during the start of his career provided experience of broadcast journalism. He has a degree in English Literature from the University of Winchester.

On a personal note:

Chris lives in Oxfordshire and when not at work tries to spend as much time in the countryside as possible. He’s also a keen motorsport fan so it’s particularly convenient for him having Silverstone so close to home. Outside of the UK his destination of choice is Greece and his ambition is to visit as many islands as possible.

Sean graduated with a BEng Honour from Coventry University and has over 20 years of experience in Finance across Investment, Private, Retail Banking and Specialised Finance. Sean has held multiple Head of Credit roles at Octopus Investments, Amicus, Harrods Bank, Credit Suisse, was a member and chaired various risk committees and worked with lenders on banking applications. During his 10 years with Credit Suisse, Sean spent a number of years working in Zurich, Guernsey and New York, specialising with HNW and UHNW Structured Lending Products & Real Estate.

On a personal note:

Having 3 children, Sean is a master of board games, Lego, baking and keeping the peace. He raised +£10,000 for NSPCC when he climbed Kilimanjaro in 2016 and is looking for the next big challenge.

Background

Hean joins JBR Capital as Senior Credit Manager having recently relocated from Sydney, Australia to London in pursuit of new opportunities. His role in Asset Finance within the Specialised Lending team at Macquarie Bank, Australia’s leading investment bank, spans over multi-million dollar transactions across a range of asset classes and industries. Hean brings extensive experience in credit and risk management to JBR.

On a personal note:

In his free time, Hean is a frequent traveller and disappears on hikes (at times literally but never intentionally), and hopes to one day complete the 3 Peaks Challenge in the UK. He also enjoys cooking, tennis and motorsports.

Background

Sam graduated with an upper second class honours in Business and Accountancy from Nottingham Trent University in 2019. He joined JBR Capital after working as a brand ambassador and managing accounts in the care home sector and is now keen to build on his knowledge within the finance industry.

On a personal note:

Sam enjoys swimming and regularly cycles, especially enjoying the freedom of exploring cities abroad on two wheels. As well as many European cities he explored the east coast of the USA following Camp America and South-East Asia after his graduation. The next destination on his bucket list is South America. Sam thrives on experiencing different cultures and meeting diverse groups overseas.

Background

After graduating from Brunel University having studied International Business, Mohsen went on to run the biggest European branch of Enterprise-Rent-A-Car in Heathrow. Mohsen joins JBR as Collections and Recoveries Manager, which encompasses a lot of his passions, including his love of V12 engines!

On a personal note:

In his spare time, Mohsen enjoys the outdoors being surrounded by nature with his Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is currently focused on moulding his son to become a footballer, preferably for Manchester United!

Background

After graduating from Brunel University, Naz started his career in debt recovery at a city based Solicitors firm, which also served as the Sheriffs Office. Since leaving there he has gone from strength to strength working in a number of companies within asset finance industry.

On a personal note:

In his spare time he follows his local team Arsenal football club, although sometimes wishes he didn’t. He also spends a lot of time with his youngest son of 2 years old. When he has some additional time, he volunteers at his local Alzheimer’s society to help raise awareness and assists in fundraising too.

Background

Shashank attended the University of Greenwich graduating with a BA Hons in Business Management with Accounting & Finance. Since having completed his education Shashank has been building on his experience in financial services when working at Zopa giving him skills to develop further within JBR Capital.

On a personal note:

Shashank enjoys travelling and learning from different cultures. He is an avid sports fan supporting his childhood team Arsenal. Shashank also likes to keep active by going to the gym, playing football, cricket and badminton. All these keep him busy but he still makes time for his friends and family who he always puts first.

Background

Pooja studied at Birmingham City University where she achieved a first-class Hons degree in Business Psychology and Management and followed it up with a MSc in Management at University of Leicester where she achieved a Distinction. Pooja has previously worked on Deloitte run projects in areas such as PPI, mortgages and loans. Before joining JBR Pooja worked for the Financial Ombudsman Service for just under eight years, where she gained substantial experience in Insurance and Banking. She has recently certified in Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime Prevention under the ICA regulatory body. Joining as a Compliance Associate, Pooja is keen to progress her career further within Financial Services. Pooja is ambitious, hard-working and a great team player.

On a personal note:

Pooja enjoys cooking and baking in her free time. She is also a keen painter, and has participated in exhibitions in her hometown, Gibraltar. Pooja has a love for travelling and has a keen interest in interior decorating, which has grown since the purchase of her own place.

Background

Born and bred in Kenya, Vasanti gained her certificate in Accounting in Kenya.  Moved in 1992 to London and qualified as an AAT Finalist. Vasanti is hard working individual who enjoys new roles and challenges. She held two roles as sole book-keeper, worked in a courier company for 12 years and moved on to retail industry after that.

On a personal note:

Vasanti  is happily married with two boys. In her free time she loves to spend time with the family at the gym! She also enjoys cooking , reading and long walks. In addition she supports her son’s football team (Liverpool) . When not in the office, she is always on holiday around the continent!

Background

Lana came from working in the NHS as an administrator/ receptionist. She then moved to the technology industry where she was been able to gain over 5 years of experience, working in their Admin/ Facilities department. Lana enjoys working in technology and has decided to take a new step in the Financial tech industry, expanding her career to be more focused solely on the people management of the company. Lana is astute and driven in hopes that her time with JBR can bring value.

On a personal note:

Lana loves long car rides out of London to explore the many hidden gems the UK have to offer, she makes an effort to create all things related to art, whether this is drawing, writing, cooking or her newfound hobby of Resin! Lana highly enjoys the simple pleasures in life as her life has taught her to appreciate the small instances you get to just sit back and reflect.
