Professionally built in 2010 by REALM Engineering. This is a Body-Chassis Plus from REALM, meaning parts supplied and fitted are specifically designed for the cars. A Hard-Back folder is present detailing invoices covering parts & extras purchased – build & wiring diagrams and more.
The Chassis:
This example sits on a Full Bracketed Space-Frame Chassis, similar to the original car, with Steel Front Bulkheads and Aluminium Skinned Floors.
The Bodywork:
The Bodywork of this example consists of Handcrafted Composite Panels, including inner wheel arches and flush-fit aluminium louvres, centre section including tail, doors & boot lid. All panels are trimmed to suit and are supplied with mountings.
The Engine:
A letter of confirmation is included from Jaguar Enthusiasts Club confirming the engine used in the build is a 1985 Manufactured Series 3 XJ 4.2 Straight-Six.
The Suspension:
The front suspension is wishbone, whereas the rear is independent.
